New Halo: Flashpoint reference sheet as PDF
Everything at a glance for those of you who have already played the first few rounds of the new Halo: Flashpoint will know the problem: the game is wonderfully dynamic and elegantly interlocked, but especially in the first few games you’ll find yourself leafing through the rulebook again and again. When exactly was the bonus for the higher position? Which command cube symbols can I ignite in the opponent’s activation? And how did the initiative theft actually work?
So that you don’t have to interrupt your game flow all the time, I sat down at the weekend and made a comprehensive, two-page Quick Reference Sheet in German for you.

What does the reference sheet offer you?
I have tried to master the balancing act between maximum clarity and complete rules. The two-page set is optimized for the A4 format and divided into three clear core areas:
- Page 1: Activation & combat
- All actions at a glance: A clean matrix that shows you at a glance which actions are short or long – from “Stand up” to “Sprint”.
- Ranged combat (Shoot): The exact comparison of attacker and defender tests including all important modifiers such as Clear Shot, High Ground or the nasty deduction for Friendly Fire.
- Melee (Assault): Clearly defined as an attack in the same cube, including the important bonus dice for movement, superiority or wounded targets.
- Page 2: The command dice system (Command Dice)
- The round phase: step by step from Roll to Reroll to Place, including all the effects of the important keyword Tactician (n).
- The symbol matrix: When can I use which symbol and what does it do? Here you can also find the important balance update from October 2025 regarding the initiative theft in the final phase!
- Important restrictions: The often overlooked rule that a model may only use a maximum of one free result (Advance, Shoot or Assault) per activation is highlighted as an unmissable info box.
Fan service for the community
As you’ve come to expect from me, I’ve designed the whole thing in a chic sci-fi layout that fits in perfectly with Halo. You can simply print out the pages and ideally pack them double-sided in a protective cover or laminate them.
