The new update for The Tactical Screen is live! Profiles, Community Radar, and AS350 list check
The time has come: The next major update for The Tactical Screen is now live! Over the past few weeks, I’ve poured my heart and soul into further developing it. My goal is not only to offer you the best tool for managing your lists, but also to bring our tabletop community closer together.
The new features are available to you starting now. Here’s a complete overview of what you can expect on the platform starting today:
1. Show who you are: Profiles & Member List
The Tactical Screen is becoming a real part of the “community.” Starting now, you can fill out your own player profile. To go along with that, there’s now a public member list. Check it out right away to see who from the community is already on board, and connect with like-minded people!
2. Who’s playing near you? The Community Radar
What is the community out there actually playing right now? The new Community Radar now gives you the answer. It anonymously analyzes the lists and units posted by users and presents them as clear statistics. It’s perfect for spotting trends, analyzing popular Mech configurations, and seeing how the meta is evolving.
3. Show your activity (gamification)
To add a bit of playful motivation to the platform, I’ve added a new activity ranking. The more actively you maintain your digital arsenal, build lists, and use the platform, the higher you’ll climb in the rankings. Give it a try right away!
4. Improved List Analyses & AS350 Tournament Check
There are also some tangible new features for strategists and tournament players:
- List Performance Indicators: I’ve added a few small but useful enhancements so you can analyze your squad’s efficiency even better at a glance.
- AS350 List Check: A truly convenient feature! The system now automatically checks your Alpha Strike lists against the official AS350 tournament rules. This way, you can see right away if your list is tournament-legal and avoid any unpleasant surprises when you register.
5. Data Protection Is a Priority: Full Control Through Opt-In
Of course, the new social features are only fun if everyone feels completely safe. That’s why The Tactical Screen follows the principle of ” safety first.”
Important to know: All new profile and directory features are disabled by default. Your data is fully protected. Only after you explicitly consent (opt-in) in your privacy settings will your profile and your entry in the member list become visible to others. You retain 100% control over what you choose to share.
6. Bug fixes & fine-tuning
In addition to the major features, I’ve used this time to track down and fix a few bugs under the hood. As a result, the system runs noticeably smoother and more stable overall.
