New Scenario Pack Available: The War of 3039 for BattleTech Alpha Strike

What is this scenario book about?
In the year 3039, the newly founded United Commonwealth (the alliance between the Federated Suns and the Lyran Alliance under Hanse Davion) ventures an offensive against the Draconis Combine. What began as a large-scale offensive to recapture lost worlds evolved, thanks to the tactical skill of Theodore Kurita and the legendary deception operation known as Operation OROCHI, into a dramatic turning point in the 31st century.
This Mech Strategist scenario pack takes you on a five-mission journey—from the United Commonwealth’s initial advances to its grueling retreat:
- Mission 1: Operation Bulldog’s Bite (Kentares IV) – A classic assault scenario to break through the Kurita lines.
- Mission 2: Steel in the Fog (Proserpina) – An exciting encounter battle with limited visibility.
- Mission 3: Fire Over Dieron (Dieron) – A ground offensive centered on the battle for supply depots.
- Mission 4: Honor and Shadows (Kessel) – An intense urban battle and duel of honor between elite lance units.
- Mission 5: Benjamin’s Retreat (Benjamin) – A dramatic evacuation scenario under heavy fire.
Scenarios vs. Campaigns – The Mechstrategist Concept
As usual, my scenarios are aimed at both beginners and experienced players.
- No administrative overhead: Unlike an open-ended campaign, the individual results of missions have no direct impact on subsequent missions.
- Focus on Story & Tactics: Each mission has fixed deployment rules, point values (PV), recommended battlefields, and clear victory conditions.
- Versatile: Perfect for a club night, a weekend event, or as a mini-campaign where total victory points determine the winner of the war.
