Halo: Flashpoint – The ODST are coming
Spartans, Master Chief, Elites, Brutes, Atriox – and now the ODST are coming into play! With the new Halo: Flashpoint-expansion Feet First Into Hell, another expansion box is coming our way from October 2025.
What’s in the box?
The box is full to the brim with interesting things:
- 16 ODST miniatures with various equipment
- Two exclusive characters: Gunnery Sergeant Edward Buck & ONI Captain Veronica Dare (only available here first in the pre-order!)
- Foldable deluxe game board
- Urban cardboard terrain
- Faction dice, cards, markers and tokens
- The “Desperate Measures” booklet with new missions
- And of course the Advanced Fireteam Building rules
The new boys on the block: ODST
This troop is not just “another UNSC unit”. The Orbital Drop Shock Troopers jump straight from orbit into the fray, complete with black combat gear and crammed full of special equipment.
Whether it’s silenced SMGs for quiet use, flamethrowers for the rough stuff or jetpacks for fast positioning – the ODST are specialists for tough, fast and precise missions. This guarantees lots of new gaming fun.
New Mombasa as a game board
Forget open fields or outposts – this is the city!
New Mombasa brings narrow streets, lots of height differences and plenty of cover into play.
The terrain is nicely varied: signs, green areas, stairs, bridges, a watchtower… here every game becomes a real city battle.
My conclusion
I’m pretty excited. The box not only brings new minis, but also a completely fresh feel to the game.
The urban combat setting in particular should provide plenty of exciting and tactical moments.
And let’s be honest – who hasn’t always wanted to jump off with the ODST and land in the middle of the action?
