Focus on the formation<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Name of the formation:<\/strong> Clan Heavy Battle Star<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Definition &amp; Purpose:<\/strong> The traditional Clan Star structure, focused on destroying the enemy at medium range and holding key positions. It is a &#8220;fire star&#8221; that impresses with its robustness and fire concentration. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3.2. Tactical use of the formation<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Primary strategy:<\/strong> The <strong>&#8220;hammer and anvil&#8221; approach.<\/strong> The Kingfisher\/Turkina axis forms the anvil (the line) and absorbs or forces the opponent to act, while Huntsman and Ebon Jaguar flank as a hammer or quickly eliminate critical targets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Synergies in the pack:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>With its indirect fire, the <strong>Crossbow<\/strong> provides the necessary <strong>early-phase support<\/strong> to wear down the enemy before the main battle line is in range.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Kingfisher<\/strong> and <strong>Turkina<\/strong> serve as anchors, draw fire (tanking) and consistently deliver the highest damage at medium range.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Huntsman<\/strong> and <strong>Ebon Jaguar<\/strong> use their mobility to identify and exploit damage gaps in the enemy line or to fend off enemy flankers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Movement and positioning:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Kingfisher\/Turkina<\/strong> stay central and use heavy cover or hard terrain sections as defensive points.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Huntsman\/Ebon Jaguar<\/strong> move aggressively across the flanks and use<em>jumping<\/em> for increased <em>target movement modifiers<\/em> to be harder to hit, while unleashing their high damage capacity at mid-range.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Key unit:<\/strong> The <strong>Turkina<\/strong>. It is the strongest and most dangerous mech in the Star and serves as an indispensable anchor. Its sheer presence on the battlefield forces the enemy to prioritize, giving the rest of the Star time to maneuver.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. integration into the larger army (Alpha Strike)<\/h3>\n\n<p>Although the <strong>Clan Heavy Battle Star<\/strong> is an extremely effective unit in its own right, it becomes even more powerful when integrated into a larger army.<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Supplement for other Lances\/Stars:<\/strong> This Star fills the gap of pure heavy combat strength. It is perfectly suited as the center of a larger army (the <em>Fire Blast<\/em>) and only requires fast reconnaissance or specialized objective protection. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Point value consideration:<\/strong> A <strong>Heavy Battle Star<\/strong> is PV-intensive. Depending on the chosen variant (Prime, A, B, etc.) and pilot skills, the value is typically between <strong>250 and 300 PV<\/strong>. This makes it the centerpiece of a medium-sized Alpha Strike army (300 &#8211; 400 PV).  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Proposal for the army composition:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ideally, combine it with a <strong>Clan Light Star<\/strong> (e.g. <em>Adder, Cougar, Piranha<\/em>) to provide the necessary reconnaissance, speed control and objective protection that the Heavy Star lacks. The fast mechs can secure flanks and tie up lightly armored targets. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5 Conclusion and evaluation<\/h3>\n\n<p><strong>Short summary:<\/strong> The <strong>Clan Heavy Battle Star<\/strong> is a masterpiece of heavy clan strategy.
