The setting is the planet <strong>Alyina<\/strong><sup><\/sup>. The special feature of this scenario is the dynamic reversal of the usual roles: After Clan Jade Falcon has penetrated deep into the space of the Lyran Commonwealth, they suddenly find themselves on the defensive<sup><\/sup>. The Lyrans launch a desperate counterattack, and the invaders must try to hold their position against the advancing Commonwealth forces<sup><\/sup>.   <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><a id=\"wp-block-file--media-ab4fb58a-1320-4f17-bb0d-74a8bf7c22af\" href=\"https:\/\/mechstrategen.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/3052_LyranCommonwealth_JadeFalcon_AlyinaSystem_web.pdf\">3052_LyranCommonwealth_JadeFalcon_AlyinaSystem_web<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/mechstrategen.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/3052_LyranCommonwealth_JadeFalcon_AlyinaSystem_web.pdf\" class=\"wp-block-file__button wp-element-button\" download=\"\" aria-describedby=\"wp-block-file--media-ab4fb58a-1320-4f17-bb0d-74a8bf7c22af\">Mission description PDF Download<\/a><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mission facts at a glance<\/h2>\n\n<p>Here are the key dates for your planning:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>System:<\/strong> BattleTech (Alpha Strike mechanics based on PV)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Point size:<\/strong> 700 PV per side.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bonus:<\/strong> Each side also receives a free pilot upgrade (+1 skill) and a LongTom artillery piece.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Duration:<\/strong> 10 rounds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Terrain:<\/strong> Grassland with Urban Combat elements (walls\/buildings).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Scope:<\/strong> Includes artillery (on board), infantry, vehicles and urban combat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Special mission rules<\/h2>\n\n<p>Xinthius has included some interesting special rules that make the game tactically challenging:<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. hacking of the outpost<\/h3>\n\n<p>It&#8217;s not just about destroying. The attackers must &#8220;hack&#8221; an outpost. To do this, a unit must stand on the target square and make a test (D6 to 4+) during the movement phase (instead of moving)<sup><\/sup>. During hacking, the unit may neither physically attack nor move, and weapon attacks are more difficult<sup><\/sup>.   <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. convoys &amp; strategic goals<\/h3>\n\n<p>Both sides have convoys (4 hit points, movement only on the road) that must be protected or destroyed<sup><\/sup>. There are also strategic buildings with different &#8220;Construction Factors&#8221; (CF), the destruction or preservation of which scores victory points<sup><\/sup>. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. staggered installation<\/h3>\n\n<p>Not everything is thrown into battle immediately. At the beginning, only <strong>75% of the troops<\/strong> (approx. 525 PV) are deployed<sup><\/sup>.
